Starting this July, Google Chrome will mark all 'http' sites insecure according to a blog post published last night.
In a nutshell this means that any site that doesn't load with a green padlock or a "secure" message in the browser's address bar will be flagged as insecure.
The company's decision comes after HTTPS adoption increased among website owners and a large chunk of today's traffic is now encrypted.
According to Google, 81 out of the top 100 ranked global websites now use HTTPS by default.
